The stress of Covid-19 has many families in need of basic food supplies.  But it would take more than a pandemic to stop the decades-long outreach of Maryvale Preparatory School to families of southeast Baltimore through the Julie Community Center. 

Maryvale students, alumnae and staff provide Thanksgiving meals and winter Food Pantry resources to the Julie Center.  Through their generosity meals, including pie fixings and stuffing, were distributed to families from local schools and child care centers, senior residents of Apostolic Towers, and other community members in need.  

Throughout the year, the Julie Center coordinates its Food Pantry activities with other outreach efforts in the community to ensure that resources are most effectively distributed.
