Child Care Careers Training Program
Our flagship workforce development program trains adults to become State certified Child Care Providers, with 144+ hours of instruction and ongoing support after graduation.

- Adults pursuing a career in child care and early childhood education
- When:
- Offered in alternating semesters for English-speaking and Spanish-speaking students. Contact the JCC for exact dates and language of instruction each semester.

Feeding Our Neighbors
A monthly community meal where neighbors can gather for free hot food, fellowship, and connection. Everyone is welcome.

- Individuals and families throughout Southeast Baltimore

No Plate Wasted
Helping reduce food waste by redistributing quality surplus meals to neighbors who need them.

Julie Academic Scholars
An academic enrichment program focused on homework support, literacy, STEM exploration, mentoring, and helping students build confidence beyond the classroom.

- Elementary and middle school students

Community Health Fair
A community health and wellness event connecting residents with health education, screenings, wellness resources, and local health partners.

- Adults and seniors

Parents' Night Out
Safe, supervised, activity-filled childcare that gives parents and caregivers an evening to relax, work, enjoy a date night, or simply have some time to themselves.

- Children ages 5–12 · Maximum capacity 16 children

- Tentative: Second Saturday of each month · 4:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Young Kings & Queens and Mentors Chess
A mentorship-based chess program that develops critical thinking, confidence, leadership, and meaningful relationships across generations.

Cooking Classes
Hands-on cooking experiences that teach affordable, healthy meals while bringing neighbors together.

Men's Wellness Collective
A supportive gathering for men focused on physical health, mental wellness, fatherhood, personal growth, and community.

Youth Programming
Future youth enrichment opportunities including leadership, arts, recreation, career exploration, media, and community engagement.

Volunteer Opportunities
Join our volunteer team and help support community events, food programs, youth initiatives, wellness activities, and neighborhood outreach.

Facility Rentals
Rent Julie Community Center for meetings, workshops, trainings, small celebrations, classes, community gatherings, and special events. Our main meeting space can accommodate approximately 30–35 people with chair-only seating or approximately 20 people when tables and chairs are being used. Renting space at Julie also helps support the programs and community work of Julie Community Center.
